Who we are
My name is Max Rothe, and I am an interdisciplinary graduate student at San Jose State University with a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship. I hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering from SJSU and bring a diverse range of professional experiences to this project. I have experience as an R&D engineer at a medical device startup in the cardiovascular space, where I gained invaluable experience in problem-solving and cutting-edge development. During the pandemic, I served as a program manager for a food distribution company, leading efforts to provide 30,000 lbs of essential goods to food-insecure individuals every week. Additionally, I have been a program manager for the SpartUp Incubator program, where I supported students, alumni, faculty, and staff in transforming their ideas into viable startups.
